Summary
An excluder device, tested on a trawl net in a flume tank with dummy seals in New Zealand excluded dummy seals from the codend of the net. The modifications were trialed to address bycatch of Hooker's sea lions (Phocarctos hookeri) and New Zealand fur seals (Arctocephalus forsteri).
